CENEX

CENEX

Cenex was established in 2005 as the UK’s first Centre of Excellence for Low Carbon and Fuel Cell technologies.  Today Cenex operates as an independent not-for-profit consultancy specialising in the delivery of projects, as well as supporting innovation and market development, all focused on low emission vehicles and associated energy infrastructure. Having gained a thorough knowledge of Vehicle-to-Grid technology, Cenex is currently involved in five major research and demonstration projects which are analysing the business case for V2G to enable future large-scale roll out across the UK.

REA

REA

REA was established in 2001 as a not-for-profit trade association, representing British renewable energy producers and promoting the use of renewable energy in the UK. REA helps our members build commercially and environmentally sustainable businesses whilst increasing the contribution of renewable energy to the UK’s electricity, heat, transport and green gas needs. Its membership also includes composters, following the merger of the Association for Organics Recycling (formerly the Composting Association) in 2013. The REA endeavours to achieve the right regulatory framework for renewables and organics waste recycling to deliver an increasing contribution to the UK's electricity, heat, recycling and transport needs.

RECC

RECC

RECC helps consumers to have the confidence to choose a reliable company to deal with when considering the purchase of small scale renewables. Membership of the Code shows that a company is committed to complying with the Code’s high standards of consumer protection. All RECC Members are listed in its Members directory and encouraged to display the RECC logo. RECC also offers its members various benefits to help them comply with its standards, as well as government regulations and legislation. More on the Code can be found atwww.recc.org.ukREAL also administrates the Biofertiliser Scheme, the Green Gas Certification Scheme, the Compost Certifications Scheme and the Compostable Packaging Certification Scheme.
